Jase loved his childhood and earnestly wanted others to enjoy theirs to their greatest potential. He had a particular concern in supporting sick children from family experiences. His wife is a neonatal nurse, his brother a paediatric doctor (working in Alder Hey) and his eldest niece spent 3 weeks in paediatric intensive care when she was first born. Jase would have loved to know that, by fundraising in his memory, he would be part of building a new children's hospital in a park, the first of it's kind in Europe.
